Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
What is your impossible this morning? What have you not even thought to ask for because the opportunity for it to become a reality is so remote? God does the impossible. Is it life change in a friend’s life? Is it a new attitude and a new heart? Is it a new lifestyle for you? Is it a renewed family, marriage, or relationship with God?
Your impossible begins with God doing the impossible, the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. God predicted the virgin birth 700 years before Mary and Joseph were told by two separate angelic appearances that it would be their family who would experience it. The Holy Spirit came upon Mary and the glory of the Lord overshadowed her and a divine conception occurred. Jesus was born and though He was the same as every other baby, He was very different.
God became a man so that He could bear our sins. He was God with us, Immanuel and He made our redemption a reality through His sinless life and atoning death.
Behold, here is God’s sign for you: God sent His Son as the virgin born Son of God who died for your sin to reconcile you to God. Believe today! Trust in Him today. God is with us.
